St. Cloud State Partners with the Community to Effectively Reduce High Risk Drinking

Thanks to a series of successful collaborative efforts to alter the culture when it comes to alcohol and drug use on the campus of St. Cloud State and the surrounding community, dramatic, positive and measurable changes are occurring.

2015 Carnegie Community Engagement Classified Institutions Announced

The Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching and the New England Resource Center for Higher Education (NERCHE) have announced the results of the 2015 round of the Carnegie Classification for Community Engagement. Nationwide, 83 institutions are receiving the classification for the first time, while 157 are now re-classified, after being classified originally in 2006 or 2008. These 240 institutions join the 121 institutions that earned the classification during the 2010 selection process.
