Engaged Faculty Institutes

June 11, 2018

We are currently accepting applications for our 2018-2019 Engaged Faculty Institutes and Research Fellowships. See below for more information.

Each year, we also offer the opportunity for member campuses to host an Engaged Faculty Institute on campus. Using curriculum developed by California Campus Compact and Campus Compact of the Mountain West, we provide an in-depth institute on components and practices of quality and rigorous community engagement, as well as the opportunity to connect directly with community partners to co-create courses and/or research projects.

There is no charge to the campus host for the curriculum, materials, or facilitation. The curriculum will be customized to meet the host campuses’ needs, but the invitation will also be extended to other campus faculty to participate as space allows. Host campuses must provide the food and facilities and can opt to provide stipends to faculty and/or community partners (but this is not a requirement).

If you are interested in hosting an institute on your campus in Fall 2018 or Spring 2019, please contact Sinda at sinda {at} mncampuscompact(.)org.
