2019 Statewide Summit & Presidents’ Awards Luncheon

Registration is closed.

This event brings together a variety of civic engagement stakeholders both to celebrate the good work already being done across the state and to consider ways of building on that work for greater impact. 

Date: April 10, 2019, 11:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. (Registration starts at 11 a.m. The event program runs from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.)

Parking: Free parking is available in the O’Shaughnessy lot, marked on the campus map. You may park in this lot regardless of whether they say they require a permit. Permits are not required on the day of the summit. The nearest handicapped parking is available southeast of the Coeur de Catherine building, near the roundabout. Handicapped parking is marked on the campus map.
Meal: Lunch will be provided and will be served pre-plated. We have noted the dietary restrictions you have provided. Each table will have modified meals labeled as such, please sit at the meal that meets your needs.
Other notes on the space: There will be a lactation room available in the library. Non-gendered restrooms are available past the registration table, down the hall. Prayer space will be available in room 370 or the 4th floor atrium. Prayer rugs are available for checkout. Ask registration for more information.

Keynote: Natalie Hudson, Minnesota Supreme Court Justice on “Seeing Differently Together: Pluralism, Interdependence, and Our Democracy.”

  • Presentation of the 2019 Presidents’ Student Leadership Awards, Community Partner Awards, and Civic Engagement Steward Awards, as well as the national Campus Compact Newman Civic Fellows Awards
  • Seeing Differently Together: Pluralism, Interdependence, and Our Democracy” with featured speaker: Natalie Hudson, Minnesota Supreme Court Justice, whose talk will lead participants into focused conversation at their tables
